Simple Pleasures

What a wonderful weekend!

As the lockdown concluded last Thursday, I found myself in the spirit of celebrating, of course still being Corona Cautious. So, I decided to fill my weekend with my simple pleasures.

Firstly, nails! I went to go get my nails done to brighten up my aesthetic. I find that it also makes me feel a lot cleaner and put-together.

Following the nails was an evening stroll around the neighbourhood with my younger brother. If I didn't have his preferred company I would've chosen to listen to a podcast - The Blonde Files or Modern love (Two of my favourite podcasts)

To end that day I used my Mario Badescu Flower and Tonic Mask just before going to bed. This mask leaves my face feeling smooth and fresh.

Mornings are my favourite. Waking up, doing a little stretch, making my breakfast bowl and sitting on the balcony just do it for me.(Oh! and coffee, can't forget the coffee!)

Starting my day in the right mood.

A spontaneous decision to go flower and strawberry-picking this weekend took place! I will paste a link below where I went and how to get there. I love flowers, they brighten my day and also bring the best smell into the house.

Two of my last simple pleasures are driving - whether it's schlepping my friends around or being able to sing out loud in the car by myself, I love the freedom of movement - and picnics. A catch-up with some good friends over a picnic and a good sunset just does it for me.
